The status and release date of c4eva's iXtreme LT Ultimate firmware for the Lite-On 1175 DG-16D5S Xbox 360 DVD Drive is noted in the box to the right. The status and information presented here is correct and current as of 2013-06-19 (UTC).
C4eva's custom firmware typically goes through 3 stages: Development (status "in progress"), Testing (status "in testing"), and finally, Release (status "released"). The duration of the first 2 stages varies due to differing complexities in the hardware and software being worked on, time constraints, and various other internal and external factors. As such, there is no average timeframe for completion of these stages.
Generally, an ETA for the release date is not announced until the point where c4eva has the firmware in a fully-working and testable state, ready for the team members to begin conducting their own personal rounds of testing. The firmware is released after the testing phase is completed, when the team members and c4eva himself are satisfied with its functionality.
iXtreme LT Ultimate for the Lite-On 1175 DG-16D5S requires topology data for all XGD3s and AP2.5-active XGD2s. It supports the use of truncated XGD3 backups, although it it strongly recommended to use full XGD3 backups made with a compatible Lite-On iHAS drive (or cross-flashable model) flashed with c4eva's iXtreme Burner MAX fw.

I'll get one if, and only if, they lift their childish restrictions. I can live without the originals just to prove a point. I just can't justify giving my money to anyone that is so disrespectful. "We already have an offline console, it's called the Xbox 360." Really Don Matrick?!? I'm the type of person that if I'm in a store and I see a manager chewing out an employee in front of God and everyone, I will leave my items with him and explain that I don't want to purchase anything in the store that contributes to the salary of an idiot like him. Then I will turn and leave the store. Sorry Microsoft, Sony is looking better all the time.

more like "windows 7 plus windows screen". the percentage of people who pirate games on the 360 is not that high and not much different from other systems (including pc). companies have been working on new ways to prevent it for years and years now. it makes no sense to blame one console's situation. i encourage people to set up game rooms where you pay an hourly fee to play the xbox one. this will give people who can't afford to buy the console an opportunity to play their favorite exclusive game series, while keeping console sales low. we need to show them we aren't going to support their poor decisions. this also accomplishes exactly what they want to prevent. many people playing from the same copy of a game, since it would be licensed to the console. i personally might buy an xbox one, but i will NEVER take it online. my plan is to keep the original dashboard intact until someone finds a way to disable the always online requirements.

Right because nobody else would have figures out that is was so easily hackable. The 360 hacks were started way before C4 entered the scene. He just mastered it. Stop being such an idiot and go back to your momma's tit. Microsoft will do what they do because they are out of touch with reality. Look at the piece of junk that is Windows 8.
